bettas w/o heaters

ya iv got one of those to, im not sure wat they are, their just an ancient form of the space heater i guess :dunno: they do work thogh

That's the type I have running right now, works well and less expensive. By this weekend I'll have to switch over to the furnace style heater, we're expecting snow on Friday

snow.. holy crap.. we just started getting rain for the first time in a long time.. it stopped for awhile today, then went insane at night again..

i hope we still have a few weeks of sunshine left, but who knows :S

I still have to buy my betta's heater and I have to. I live in Japan and whoa, it's so darn cold in the winter. It snows, yay! :kana:

I've got one of those heating pads for some of my tanks... the kind one uses for sore neck muscles, ya know? You can get them for $30 at the Bay or London Drugs. I can fit four 1 gallon tanks on one... it's not the best solution if you've got a lot of tanks though :/

What I did last year was use a halogen desk lamp to heat the tanks (which were on top of some styrofoam) during the day, and at night I'd wrap the tanks in towels to retain the heat. You've got to keep a close eye on the temperature, because it still could drop. -_-

well in my room the room temp is always 75+ so during the summer its not a prob but it gets cold during the winter, i think im gunna just spring for the tank heater

it snows here too in the winter.. i was just thinkin about winter..

SNOWBOARDING!!!!!!!! but there is still fall to come here :(

i didnt get to snowboard at all last year.. GRRR..

i think this yea will be the backflip year :D ! ! !

hmm woops... i didnt read the thread i just read ur thing :p :/ :p

i think u should have a back up plan to because if plan A fails, and u dont got sumthin to fall back on ur fishes are screwed :D

my backup plan is all the 10g tanks.. which would really suck and cost me lots of $ but o well.. im about 90% sure the heater idea will work.. ill just put all the containers together and put the heater near them..

all the tank will have heaters, hm maybe they wont.. i will need to buy 1 or 2 probably.. hopefully prices will go down by then lol..

ill be ok i think.. just worrying for no reason i guess

im going to bed.. 1:37 am .. waking up in like 9 hours :-(
