Betta's in a pond

Yes, there are, but I would expect to come up and breath once in awhile :(

In any event, since leaves fall into the pond, the dredging has to be done in a regular basis. Wondering whether to buy a net or stop investing in this idea andjust get another aquarium (hhhmmm....where do I put it though).

Not something I want to contemplate, but if the three fish died, how long before their bodies would decompose so I would no longer recognize then as fish?

I've found that bettas sort of *explode* after they die, their fins just melt and they're bodies shrike pretty fast. However, I would give your pond more time, I don't even have my bettas in that big of a tank and I sometimes can't find them because they hide in weird out of the way places.
