I started a small 2 gallon tank for a betta that Dwarfs and I got for our anniversary <3. His name is Dragon and he is on the smaller side, I have been offered a pair of cherry shrimp, and im not sure how well they will do with him... i tested it out with a few ghost shrimp and 3 were dead as doorknobs by the next day. I added an airstone to the set up and the one remaining ghost shrimp has been chilling for about a week now, he eats regularly and seems to not get bothered by the betta. I am still not sure what the cause of death is on the other shrimp... i'm not sure if the cherry shrimp will be safe in the tank... any suggestions?

I will give you some regardless, as you've seen we have a fairly large breeding group at my house, a few can be spared. I think you will have to change the water more frequently (or you can use the under gravel filter to keep it cleaner). Also, if Dragon doesn't like the shrimp they won't make it. My betta didn't like the cherries and they disappeared :(

Oh and I almost forgot! I have a bunch of those little sponge filters that stick to the glass :) I'll give you one ;)

Shrimp have been added :) awaiting some java moss for shrimp hiding spots
