I have a 3ft X 15ins X 15ins tank (sorry dont know how many gallons)
I wanted to set it up with a trio of bettas and maybe 2 trios of gouramis, I was thinking about using a Fluval 2 as not to disturb the top of the tank incase they started to breed (hey I not intereted in breeding them but if they do its a bonus
)
Now my problem is the decoration, I have some little pieces Ocean rock that would be idea for fry and bullyed females to get in between to hide and I am also going to add some live plants to make it nicer,incase they breed, I was wondering will Ocean rock alter the Ph of the water to harmful levels for the Bettas and Gouramis bearing in my my water is naturally hard with a ph of about 7-7.5
Would the Ocean rock make it rise at all?
