I'm considering moving my 9 endlers into my 30L biorb, and then possibly adding a male betta to go in with them, too.
Would these two work together okay?
Thank you! :)

Not sure about Male Betta but I have Endlers & female Betta together and they are fine.

I've seen other members keep something as small as neon tetras with a male betta, so I could only assume that potential tankmates has more to do with the personality/temperament of the individual betta. Hopefully an expert will be along shortly :)

Thank you both!
I vaguely remember someone saying that they should be okay together, but hopefully I'll get some more people to confirm that. :)

Kind of off topic, but almost along these lines (lol), I'd LOVE to have some Endler's, but the only ones I've found locally don't look pure. And my husband would probably divorce me if I asked for (...or just came home with...) another aquarium.

At least you can find some the closest thing I found are guppies and mosquito fish... oh well

I doubt he would divorce you just be upset that he has no place for himself to set up stuff he wants lol

I drove an hour to the nearest large city specifically to find them. I was SO excited, after seeing so many lovely specimens online. I expected them to be gorgeous and colorful, and the ones in the shop weren't. I've been toying with the idea of ordering a few online, though I'm not sure they'd be comfortable in my large community tank.

The nearest lfs I haven't checked is in a different state or to close to a place I am always told to avoid lol but since I can order fish from one of the places I might do that once I upgrade my tank

I think the majority of my Endlers are actually hybrids, but that just means that they have colour on their dorsal fin, so I'm not complaining!
I would offer to send you some, but I only have 9 males, so I won't be getting any babies out of these guys! Maybe looking online would be your best bet to find some? What's the stocking in your tank, how big is it, etc.?

I gave up on endlers and I have 20 gal 3 female bettas 4 julii cory and 10 ghost shrimp that seem to constantly reproduce but my bettas love to eat them so no survives as of yet
