I woke this morning and notice my FOTM winner from last month had fin rot  . I tested the water and ammonia, nitrite read 0, nitrate reads 5ppm. ph is 7 and temp is 78. I changed the water last on friday evening. he is in a 5 gallon hex with 3 albino cory's and a ramshorn snail. I have bettamax at work which I will be taking home tonight to begin treatment (after a 30% water change) and can not find if it is safe for the snail. I have MTS so I can move the snail until the treatment is complete but would rather not move him.

So now that I have rambeld on my question: Is BettaMax safe for snails? I would hate to accidently kill the little creature as he is cool lokking and does a fantastic job of tank cleanup.

Tanks in advance,

richard

edit: I posted here rather than the betta bowl due to the amount of traffic each forum gets and I think I'll get more visability here and I have exactly 8 hours to come up with this answer plus being at work I can't just research this all day.
