having made the decision to have a betta for my new tank set up,[half way through cycling]in a few weeks,i am having trouble finding many, is their anyone that has any suggestions,around bucks berks herts middlesex area

Hello again Pebbles.You can rescue ( buy ) one from wal-mart.Thats where i got mine,i think they abuse them in the little cups so people would feel sorry and rescue ( buy ) them.Please don`t put them in anything smaller than a 2 1/2 gal tank.PLEASEEEEEEEE

i would love to but we dont have that store here, he will be in a 11 gallon tank with some corys i hope it will be happy pebbles

normally any self respecting fish store has them. My lfs keeps them in 1 gallon tanks and always has a good selection. Pet Mart also do them. Do you have one near you?

i think there may well be one not to far , dont remember them having fish, so will check it out. it may well have been that the other fish store i usually go to[several under one name] just didn't have any at the time. will keep looking, and check out petmart thanks for the info pebbles

I got mine at Petco. Also, around us there is Critters and Mjer that have bettas.
