Betta

My brother has just been given one of thsoe prehistoric fish thingybobs for christmas and it comes with a 2 gallon tank, thermometer on outside. If I were to do weekly water changes and the position of the tank is usually around he 74-76 degrees centigrade temperature, would I be able to keep a betta in it??

You might want to invest in a thermometer that goes inside the tank. That'd be more reliable.
