I am a londlord and our rentors has a betta and they brang him to me he looks like they dipped him in a box of salt he is staying in one spot he dont look like he will make it can someone please tell me how to save him he is so pretty.

Sounds like he has a bad case of ich. Keep him separate from the rest of your fish - if I remember rightly you have enough problems without this. Treat for ich.

those people down thier has a bunch of kids and they wont keep thier fingers out of the tank I dont know if this is what brung this on or not would meth.blue be what I treat this with at first I dont dnow what to do on this matter that is where the guppy came from that had all the ick let me tell you what kind of medicine I have and let u tell me what to use. I have jungle ICK AWAY and I have copper safe and I have meth blue and betta max and salt I dont know what to do I did a lot of reading on my fish before I set up my tanks luckily I have never had ick on none of my fish so far and if I did I would notice it straight off and wouldnt let it get that bad.

Read the instructions on jungle IcH Away and follow them. I personally think meth blue is a little harsh for the fish.

From what I've read, Methylene Blue is also not very effective.

Perhaps a Malachite Green? I've read that it's MUCH more effective, but some sources state that it may be carcinogenic.

I've used products like NeoSulfa/Bettamax since they use a "shotgun" approach, and seem to cure MOST diseases (perhaps it's a fungal issue?)

Good luck. I've had to treat repeatedly to keep my betta disease free.

Is the betta improving yet?
they betta took a turn for the worse he passed away just a few minutes ago nothing seem to work no matter what I tried so I decided to dip him in a salt bath it took the ick away and I checked on him just a few minutes ago and he was dead. It breaks my heart that pet stores dont care who they sell something to just so long as they can make a dollar those people dont take care of thier fish at all they keep changing thier tempatures and keep sticking thier hands in the fish tank. People like that dont need small little fish to take care of they need help thier selfs.
