I've had Butters, my betta, for a few months now and he's always been a good eater, but for the last few days i can't get him to eat anything.
When I first got him I fed him the Hikari betta food, which he ate ok.
Then my friend lost her fish and gave me her Betta Min. He totally loved this food. Especially the little pieces of brine shrimp in it.
But now he wont eat.
He wont touch the flakes, which he'd been eating for 2 months.
I even tried giving him Hikari pellets again.
He just looks at them and sometimes he goes to eat them only to spit them out again and let them sink.
I know he's hungry because he keeps trying to eat at the shrimp pellets I give my cory cats, but he doesnt get very far.
I tried giving him frozen bloodworms again, bu he wouldnt eat them, never has.
What should I do? Is there anything I can try to boost his appetite?
