Some of you will remember that my male plakat has those worms attached to him and i ordered some meds which i couldnt add.
After feeding him for a week solidly on medi-flakes im pleased to say all the flukes have gone!!
Maybe it was the garlic in them that did it but hes now all clear of them but still his miserable self
If anyone is interested in them i got them from Dorsetdiscus.

Well done black angel glad his back to his old self, a nice happy ending for a change.

Wow black angel that's awesome  Not that I am wanting those worms to come back on my female but I wonder if I could order some to Sweden just in case something like this ever happens again

again though that's great that you managed to get rid of them in only a week :)

Thanks wilder and elisabeth.
I still check him daily though to make sure they dont come back, but so far so good. Im going to feed them the flake for another 10 days i think it said.

That's wonderful, black angel!

I wish I could find some good medicated food. I have tried the only one I could find twice. It's Jungle Labs and the fish hate it. It is hard and would take a mortar and pestle to break up smaller. The times I tried it I soaked it in garlic. Later I found it mildewing under plants. The plants didn't even like it. It didn't seem to have any effect other than to dirty the tank.

Thanks jollysue. have you tried medigold for goldfish? It says not to feed it to tropicals but i did and they were fine with it.
