I have had the worst luck with my bettas lately. First I bought the one that has TB (still kickin though) and one of my old ones got dropsy (and died)...and now my oldest betta has cloudy eyes.
He is in my 25 gallon community planted tank. All other fish are fine, Otos and ghost shrimp appear healthy, etc. The betta himself even acts healthy! Swimming and eating and being a little buggar. But his eyes are cloudy. They don't look 'swollen' or pop-eye ish.
I moved him into a 2 gallon bowl to treat him but he looked fine once he was in there! So I moved him back after a few days and I still see the cloudiness in the big tank, though. He hates living in a bowl, so moving him back permanetly isn't an option. I think the lights in the room aren't bright enough to see the cloudiness without a bright aquarium light above him.
It has been at least....4 days since I first noticed it? I'm not sure when I saw it but I know he spent at least two days in the bowl and it has been maybe another two days since then (at least).
Anyways..I can't find much on treating cloudy eyes? Anyone?
