Hello all,
My name is Brad and I've got a betta fish named Skiba. I've had him about a year and a half now and had no problems with his health or anything until just this past week. I spent some time looking at his right eye on Monday and noticed that it was bulging out. He had pop eye. Alright, no problem. That would also explain why he wasn't moving around and not eating. I went and got Maracyn-2 for him and followed the directions since I've had fish before but never had to give them these tablets. His eye has shrunken back down to normal and is no longer cloudy, but he still isn't eating. Is it possible that there is something in the tablet that would make him not want to eat?
Also, I've noticed that he'll only use his left fin instead of both fins when trying to remain stationary. When he swims around the tank, he'll use both perfectly fine. Could it possible that he's not using his right fin because of the medication and/or pop eye?
Thanks in advance.
