clearseal rings a bell with me which is why i asked.
i have a funny feeling we have a big clearseal tank at my dads that my gerbils used to live in when i was a kid!
that tank is WAY too big for one fishy though, and my gerbils ripped out loads of the silicon in the corners with their claws. good ol' gerbils.
that was a reptile tank though, big sliding glass top and a hole for a light bulb.

i wouldn't know where to start adding my own filters & heaters though. such a fishy n00bie!

i WANT a glass tank. but plastic is cheaper.
i think i'm going to try a tank from "Fish R Fun"
they seem to have a pretty extensive range (glass & plastic) and I can get it very easily in the UK.

any un-recommendations?

If you're crafty, you can make your own unique tank out of plexi glass and silicon!

....ooo...no no no no silicone on plexi lol that's for glass. You weld acrylic (otherwise known as plexi) with Acrylic welding solvent (it's a liquid that melts (or welds) the acrylic enough to make it bond to itself).

Welcome to TFF from me also :D.
