BETTA - TANK TEMP

My Betta is in a room with no air conditioning. Was is a safe temp for him? Anyone have any ideas on keeping his water at a safe temp without moving him to an air conditioned room?

is it in a tank with a heater? if you have a heater it would be okay becuase the heater would stablize the temp.

It is best to keep the betta at around 77-78F, anything lower than 70 isn't that great, and i only set hte temp to over 80 when i'm treating diseases

My heaters are all set at about 77 degrees and all the fish do really well at this temperature. The betta are active and playful!

I have read anywhere from 68 (absolute lowest) to 80. Mines at 78 and is doing good so far. I have only had him a week.

Bettas really need to be at 75-80F to stay healthy and happy, and just as important is a pretty steady temp, frequent, large and quick fluctuations can reduce their immune system leading to disease.
