Hello everyone,

I want a 5 gal aquarium with a betta as the focus point (one of those 5 gal kits with a filter and whatnot included). I also want to have a mystery snail and some african dwarf frogs. How many frogs could I have in there without overcrowding? I was thinking 2 or 3. Also, I would like a couple cherry red shrimp, but I imagine the betta would eat them so I guess there's no point. Any thoughts on the subject would be great!

Am not sure of requirements for dwarf frogs but a betta and a mystery or apple snail should be ok in a 5g. Just keep in mind the inch per gallon rules as the snails can get big and put a strain on the bio load

I don't think you should get the frogs. I hear that they will eat your fish if they can.

dont know about the dwarfs, but the regular ones sure wont hesitate to

I had african Dwarf frogs with my boy they are way too small to do anything to the Betta, The betta may kill them too.

White clouds also do okay with bettas, I have found them to be fairly adaptable, again the betta may not like them,

Good luck
