A Bettas Life

Since I was darting up and down when I was born
My father was there to pick me up
Hes mouth was as soft as the bubblenest were I came from
He put me back so I wouldnt harm myself
But me bing the rascal kept swimming away from him
When I was starting to swim like my father
I grew hungry, went looking for food in the other side of my tank
When I was trying to comeback I dindt see my father anymore
I saw two eyes and a big nose with a big smile
I was scared so I took shelter in a near plant
My stomach grew very hungry
Still I was looking for food then this creature with the eyes
Dropped some little moving wormish things
Me being a explorer went to see it
I saw one of my brothers eat one
They looked good, so I gobbled some myself
They tasted very good so I kept trying to hunt them
After a few days the creature dropped some new swimming creatures
Once again my brothers and sisters were eating them
So I decided to join them, I was trying very hard to get them
But they were very fast
Once again the creature with eyes fed me the wormish foods
They were easier to catch, then finally I caught one of the other white creatures
They tasted better then the worms but a lot harder to catch

After a few weeks I started to grow bigger I was already showing color
My fins were just like my fathers
After more weeks I grew more my brothers and sisters were starting to fight
Sometimes they try to fight me I backed away most of the time
But then my anger started growing one day
I just fought one of my brothers almost till the death
The creature with eyes saw me doing this
Then to my eyes I saw a big green thing heading my way
I swam as fastest I could but the thing was right on my tail
Finally she got me in a corner I was scared she raised the green thing
I was out of the water I couldnt breathe I was more scared then ever
Then the creature finally put me in something
It was very small I could see some of my brothers
They were right next to me
The creature with eyes always fed me some foods changed my water
Then in a few months I had a beatiful tail just like my father
Everything was going well I had food companion ship

Then one day the creature with eyes once again grabbed me
She put me in this transparent thing I could see some of my brothers
In the same condition as me then we came to a stop
They grabbed the green thing and put me in a another home it was small
I could barely turn around they fed me some floating things
But they tasted horrible, I wanted my live food
I saw them put me in somekind of flat surface with all my brothers
Then more of these creatures were coming to see us
I missed my home this water was cold and dirty
Yet I still lived here wanting to die
Thinking why do I live here when I had a perfect home

Then some other small creature got my home and went to this other big creature
They dropped me in a bag then I saw how all my brothers were there
I said good bye to them
As we got to her home she had a little clear thing in her hand
She put water in it and dropped me in there
When I was dropped there the water was so cold
Then I was very hungry she fed me this floating things again
I didnt like them so I didnt eat
Each day she put more and more
My water got very dirty my tail was starting to dissapeare I couldnt see it no more
Then I saw the creature leaveing one day
I never saw her back
I was very lonely nobody to watch my water very dirty very hungry
Till one day I just gave up went to the corner of my tank
Layed down then I just started wodering why did I come here
I was sufering I had a perfect home with the creature with eyes and the big nose
Why they bring me here then with my last once of strenght went up
To get some air layed down again and I knew I wasnt going to live long
So I just shutted everything and ...........................................

Thats what cute-cotton said but this a storie of what the bettas who dont have good homes like urs and others. This what happends when they get treated bad.

Agreed....maybe he can wind up in a nice,well planted 2.5 of his own

But sadly that's not the case for most bettas. So many just live their lives on a shelf in department store hoping to be the one who gets purchased until eventually they're rejected and neglected so many times that they give up.

Alternate Ending

Then this other creature with blue eyes came to see me
I felt a little happy that atleast someone had come to see me
She grabbbed me got a bag a dumped me in a clear thing
I was scared cause I had a bad expreriance already
She put me in a nig nice new home it had many plants many shelter
It had more fish this little white pinkish fish
They were around 4 of them the were cleaning the bottom I guess
They were many plants everything was green from so many plants
I saw some other creatures on top swimming they were very colorful
Finnaly the creatre with the blue eyes gave me something to eat
It was this live black colored worms
They tasted delicious she fed me that everyday she cleaned my water all the time
Then one day I saw a beatiful female next to me
She was nice and plump ready for some loving
I got crazy I was showing her my stuff flaring like crazy
Then I made a bubblenest to try to impress her

Then she got the green thing and put me in a empty tank with plantsin one corner
Then I saw the female in somekind og thing blocking her from me
I could see her but I couldnt feel her
I got exicted build a big bubblenest and she had veertical lines and was swimming down I was happy then she finally got out se came to me checked my nest
She liked it right there we started to flare at eachother she really liked me
I started to wrap around her and after a few times eggs started to drop
I was going down and picking them up and puttting them in the nest
Then after a few more times more eggs fell
She then swam to the corner I was looking at the eggs wondering
Then the creature took the female out put something white around the home
Then the next day I started to see eggs hatching I saw them wiggling
Then the first one fell down
Right there I felt so very strong and reminded me of my dad so I got my little son
And put him back to the bubblenest hoping one day u will do the same to urs

I got crazy I was showing her my stuff flaring like crazy

I love the alternate ending Joker! And that quote above... makes him sound sooo... male
