Betta/shrimp Tank

Im thinking about setting up a small tank for a betta/shrimp, when my current tanks done...

I was looking at this tank

Would that be good, or would the 35l version be better?

Also, what filter/heater should i use

And should i get a male or female betta

Any advice would be helpful

Either would be fine, i keep a PK male with amano shrimp in a 21l

Bigger is better. The 35 litre is a better choice and gives you around 8 gallons . A 25 watt heater, and a sponge filter or a hang on the back type will be fine.

Also, will i experience any problems keeping a betta and shrimp together?

And something like this ( 25 or 50 watt will be fine ) CLICK ME FOR HEATER

Obviously you don't have to use those brands or that website, Ebay is always a good place to look too.

Just go for the larger species of shrimp such as Amano and Bamboo. I find inevitably cherry, bumble bee, etc get eaten
Long nose is the only kind thats a bit smaller that hasnt been eaten by my boys

If you get cherry shrimp the betta will eat the babies...

Get as much java moss as you can and this can look really good
