Okay here are my tanks:

10 gallon (divided into two parts: 5 gallons each)
1.5 gallon bowl
1 gallon kritter keeper

And here are my bettas:
3 male VT betta (2 about the same size and one considerably larger)
1 tiny female (she is growing though! FINALLY! :p )

Angus is going to stay in his 1.5 gallon bowl as he seems happiest there. And the larger betta will stay in one side of the 10 gallon tank as he is pretty big and should have a bigger swimming space.

Now whether to put the female in the 1 gallon who is the smallest and put the male in the other part pf the 5 gallon, or the other way around?

I have a DIY divider in the middle and the males can see each other from the reflection of the glass on the sides of the tank. I am worried one will get REALLY determined to beat the other up and somehow get around my divider or something. Although it has NEVER happened, I am really scared it will.

I have 1 male and one female in the divided 10 gallon right now (one in each side) and the male in the 10 gallon is pretty docile and rarely ever flares, even when he sees Angus in his bowl. The other male flares at everything he sees. :p

Should I put the two males together and hope the more aggressive one doesn't find away over the divider, or leave him in his 1 gallon kritter keeper. :dunno:

laminate a pice of paper, or use some aquarium bacground paper over the DIY divider, so they can't see each other!

The divider is jet black so they can't see each other through the divider. But if both of them are on the same side of the divider and each side of the tank (front window or back window) then they can catch a glimpse of each other and start flaring like crazy!

If it were my fishes and my tanks, I'd probably put both boys in the tank.
I'm not sure why, and I don't have a very good explanation for why, but my instinct just says boys in the big tank, girly in the smaller.

I just noticed, one of my new boys look just like Charlie in the face. The black eyes, the big flaring thingy. :p But his coloration is way different.

I just switched both boys into the divided 10 gallon and the female into the 1 gallon kritter keeper. I noticed she has been growing a little ever since I pulled her out of the big 120 gallon, so I will keep her in the 1 gallon until she gets a little bigger/stronger and see if she makes it in the 120 gallon.
