i've never had your experience before pointy so i can't say for certain, sorry. i would keep an eye on the other fish for the next little while to see if anything develops. how is the betta by the way? you could get lucky and avoid mass infection. we have used a large betta bowl as a hospital tank before with success, by the way. dosage must be consistant with water volume though.

the betta is healing up nicely
there is no sign of spreading to my other fish so far *knock on wood*
once i do the weekly water change tomorrow i will add one more dose to be safe
