Wow he's gorgeous. My Betta is the exact same color. Yours is a crown tail. Good luck with him! :good:

Thanks, so when people say they got a male ct, they mean crown tail. How many different types of Betta's are there, i new to Betta's, not know much

in the betta section there was a pinned topic about tail types and colors. i think it was done by a member miss piggy (she hasnt been around in ages)

what kind of tank setup do you have out of curiosity?seems like you dont have a full hood, more like a glass lid with external lighting?ive been wanting something simplistic and affordable like lid without giant heavy hood. i have a crowntail too, they seem more active than standard veiltails from my own observation

He is very alert and active. My tank is a 35 litre Arcadia, I love this little tank it's excellent, it came with the light, heater and filter but I don't like the filter so I got a biofoam air driven filter which I think are excellent for small tanks. I got mine for £35 but I think they marked it up wrong so it was a bargain.

He is a lovely little betta. Im looking to getting a CT like yours. But hopfuly a mizture of different colours. I have always personly thought that CT looked better then normal VTs. But Im not saying that if I saw a VT I liked I wouldnt buy him lol.

Im doing the same as you. My betta died after being told wrong info about him and now I have learnt enough and have the forum to help me that Im getting a new one etc.

oh man but i think most of the users on here are from the UK? so I'm not sure of the brand you're speaking of. i know this is out of place, but does anyone know of a forum with US users, I'm interested in buying some plants but the plant section seems kinda dead..
