my boy Mack has finally moved into his new 1 gallon. at the moment it's unlighted, unfiltered and at 70f degrees, but he doesn't seem to mind. he's resting on his pretty plastic plant, which is so tall i had to bend it to keep it in the tank! bubbles have collected everywhere, and Mack seems interested in popping them.
i bought his tank at my LPS, i looked for new bettas but theyre only getting a shipment next week. since the last time i was there to buy my ferret they've changed A LOT. the woman had just just inherited the store form her dad when she got it so it was animal feed, fish and rodents. now it's animal feed, horse supplies, rodents, fish, ferrets and birds. they have reptile terrariums, water additives, all kinds of foods and two 10 gallon tank kits and a 5 gallon tank kit, as well as a few 1 and .5 gallon betta tanks. their bettas are kept in the communits tanks (with angels, guppies, catfish or tetras) or in the gallon tanks, which to do sell. next time i got back i need to buy a small pals pen light (if it fits on a Penn Plax Smallworld gallon tank) as well as aquarium tubing (they have) thermometre, air pump, freeze-dried tubifex worms and brine shrimp! those are the only 'once live' foods they have, and i suppose it's better than nothing. i hope all my guys and girls like them.
=D whee, i babble
