My poor betta Raichu seems to be wasting away. I have alot of bettas over the years...but, I have never had one with symptoms such as Raichu's. The levels in the tank are fine. He is lives in a 2 gallon Eclipse Explorer with glass marbles. He is about 6 months old. Lately, he hasn't been his usual studly self. He had lost weight, plaed to almost white in the face area and he acts like he can't quite see his food very well because he swims up to it and misses. His eyes look fine and he has no copper dust when a light is shone on him...so no velvet as far as I can see. I cannot figure out what to try with him. Right now I have him in an extra 2 gallon hospital tank with Melafix (his fins are getting some rot as well), salt, and meth blue. I am trying to keep the temp near 80. He seems to be perking up a bit. Does anyone else have any other ideas or has anyone dealt with this before. Thanks! Here is a picture...

I would say use the perfect remady. Feed him bloodworms and add some pimefix to that melafix. Also add some aquarium salt.

I have aquarium salt in there already...I will try the Pimafix...but Raichu doesn't like bloodworms...(I know...weird huh?) :p

Thats so odd that Riachu doesnt like bloodworms!..umm..try daphnia!
