betta home

could i keep a betta in this??? or is it not a nice home?

Depends on how big it is. How many gallons does it hold? The minimum for a betta should be 1 gallon but 2.5 gallons + are preferred.

hi ive got 2 of my bettas in them mine hold 2/5gallons ive got a hyder heater bio filter in as well they are good a plant and flower pot plenty of room

If it holds that much I'd say it's fine. You just have to do water changes often since it wont have a filter.

i was thinking 50% twice a week...what about this one its 15 litres..... is that more or less...i dont know how u work it out

I had one of my Bettas in the first one for a week, while he was waiting to go to my friend's house. It's pretty good, I just gave him a plant and a little cave, and he seemed to like it. As mm_simb said, you do have to do water changes pretty often. The only problem I had with it, was that I couldn't get a heater small enough for it. Luckily, the house was pretty warm those days....but it could be a problem in the future.

I think that's more than 3 gallons...not sure though so if someone else knows better please correct me. It would be easier to find heaters for a bigger tank but you can find small ones if you look. If I'm not mistaken someone has posted a thread that listed some small heaters.

ill look for it...my room is pretty warm all the time neways..everyone moans how hot it feels when they walk in..but ill look for a small heater...the last one comes wiv undergravel filter and a light...so it seems better

I have one of my bettas in the first one, mines 3 gallons. He's fine in it, much happier than those goldfish must be....

i know poor things and think of all the people who have bought them and put goldfish in them!!! although at least in the guidelines its says dont put more than 2 fish in there..not that anyone would listen!

btw do u have a heater in ur 3 gal?

ive got a 6gal one!it was about £5 from a diy store i use mine for hospital and fry

15 litres is about 3.5 gallons I think... good size for a betta!
