Update: The fish's fins has been fine for the past 2 days, I am continuing treatement until sunday, and then will move him back in the main tank, hopefully my shrimp give birth until then

I'm glad I was able to save my fish, it was a nice first challenge for a Betta keeper! Now that I know that velvet is a one time deal, I'm relieved but won't drop my guard!
