The fries are now 7 weeks old. There are at least 20 confirmed fries and they have now started to come to the surface to breathe air in order to develop their labyrinth organ.

They are currently housed in a 5-gallon aquarium, but in the coming month, I will be planning to upgrade the fries to a much larger aquarium for them to finish growing. The aquarium that they will be housed next month will be a 29-gallon aquarium.

I know what you mean, I have the same trouble trying to photograph my fancy guppy fry. They are just a blur as they zip around my LOTR tank.
