Betta Fry ?'s

a few of my My 8 week old betta fry, I noticed, have a slight white edge to their anal fins.i'm not sure if its,just the fin growing? And two of my fry clamped up, and stay either on the bottom or up in the corner. Any ideas? Should I treat? Sorry no pics.

Hi.....the white is probably fin growth and stands out more if there is maybe some butterfly pattern in their genes.

As for the ones staying on the bottom....I have couple like that at the moment too which I believe could be because of the live food. What diet are your fry on at the moment?

The clamped fins would be difficult to treat without knowing excactly what the problem is. I had a fry last year that kept his fins clamped until he was nearly 7 months old. He/s fine now and they opened up great.

The best thing is to have a little bit of aireation in the tank and very clean water to see if that helps
