Will bettas accept frozen food?
I havent gotten used to using frozen food before, can you guys give me some basic steps? Thanks alot. lol mom'll get mad if she find such things in our fridge.

I usually keep my frozen food in a Ziploc bag in the freezer - reduces the "Ewww!" factor if mom happens to find it... ;)

For frozen foods, I usually take a small container (tupperware, a shot glass, whatever), add some hot tap water and a drop of dechlor, then put in the frozen food. I then let it defrost, and distribute the food with a chopstick (or a spoon, or whatever's convenient!)

Hope that helps!

The brand name for a plastic sandwich bag (or larger) that has a plastic zipper-like device to close and seal it completely, so it's air-tight.

So, dad has found out lol well sorry but it seems that keeping frozen food in the fridge is a lil risky cause LFS here caetch such things in 'dirty' places so it's hard to get rid of them all, And yes, that's dangerous to fish too, I MUST soon find a way to raise the live food. But now, can somebody please tell me how to keep tubifex alive?
Thanks alot for your time and support.

hiya im not sure how you keep the alive but i have a water tub thingy lol in my garden that gets all the rain ive had it there about 5 years and i get my own bloodworms, daf, and mozzy larva from it i use an old fsh net to catch aload up put them in an ice cream tub and then have a old cup with HOT water in and a pair of twezers ill pick a big fat bloodworm out and then dip it in hot water untill it stops moveing just to kill any bad stuff on the worm then feed it to my bettas.
some people might say this is bad but ive never ever had any problems with it and my bettas are fine never catch anything from them

Thanks...
Yeah... but I dunno if it's safe to keep an open water surface in tropical areas. I can catch up to 10 mosquitos a day! You know what I mean
Well hey, so how about tubifex? ;)
Well uhm... I am now testing if what I have heard works... well I keep tubifex out of water (of course a lil but no count)... see if it works...
