Ive tried pellets but they float at the top and end up in my filter..?

I feed then with Brine Shrimp, Pellet, Blood Worms and Mosquito Larvae.

BarryP. Most of my betta's go to feeding position whenever I approach the tank and consume the pellets within a minute from the time they are dropped (4-5 pellets). Is that a new betta? Maybe he has not associated you with food yet

I feed mine HBH betta bites. Whenever I get some money in my bank account I plan on getting some bloodworms
