Betta fish ventral fins

My betta suddenly started keeping one of his ventral fins up.. does anyone know why hes doing that? it was done after awhile and now its back up and he sometimes moves with it.

((Update 15-07-2020)) he now does it more and more and noticed today that its bloated and kinda see threw (pic under):

Is it a abscess ?? if so what can i do to help him? and i heard it might explode and other bettas mostly die when it does. If it does explode will he die from it? or not since its not too much on his body but on is ventral fin.

When he doesnt have it up it looks like he doesnt have anything going on there. i was so worried....
The bubble sometimes excists and sometimes not at all

I have no idea why he's doing that. Does he have a a filter and a heater? Water parameters?
I suppose @Colin_T will know what's wrong with your boy. My guess is poor genetics, deformity or just was born like that. Was he like this when you first bought him?

The video loaded for me... It shows the boy swimming with his ventral fin pointed up. It looks like he's just exploring his home and I don't see if he's affected by it.

he still swims like that around his home and stuff but it looks now like its gotten worse.. (i uploaded a pic of him today)

yes he does have a filter and heater (srry for late reply he stopped doing it and didn look bothered by it but now keeps it up allmost all the time) he still swims like that around his home and stuff but it looks now like its gotten worse.. (i uploaded a pic of him today) he still doesnt look bothered by it thou.

tempature is always between 80-81 fahrenheit
