After I bought 3 cobra guppies yesterday, at first they were fine, now I saw a tail of one of them is missing a piec at the tip, looks likes its nipped probably by my betta! Also my betta use to be fine with my old guppy now I saw one of my old guppy tail is shred too! Not way too bad but still bad. How long the tail of my guppies grow back? Also plz don't suggest separating them because I can't right now. Is my betta just in a bad mood? Or wat?????

If you can't house them separately, perhaps you could bring it back to the local fish store or find a way to re-home one of them. They will continue to fight until one species is left. The tail will not grow because fish' recovery won't be much since they're stressed. Stress reduces their capability to heal. Also, it will only grow once there's no fighting, otherwise, it will get nipped continuously. If there's no way you can separate them in the mean time, I hope they'd be alright until you can do so.

I wish for the best!

They were really fine 5 days ago, the fin nipping appeared today probably because I added my cobra guppies yesterday.... Help! Plz how long will it take for guppies to grow thei tail back?

There's no set time of how long it will take to grow their tails back. I had one fish gorw his back within a week. Another took ages growing it back and eventually got swim baldder and died. You need to keep your water clean and that will help it grow back faster.

Tbh Bettas and guppies are not a good mix because of the flashing tails. Some people do manage to keep them together but it's advised not to house them together. Your Betta isn't eveil that's just his natural instinct. maybe try moving your aquarium decor around. Sometimes when new fish are introduced that can set a Betta off. It's usually advised to switch things around in the tank for that reason.

I looked online and it says a week or two, also like I said my betta wasn't like this when I got him, now he seems more outgoing and he doesn't like to follow my finger anymore, thats wat I thought was weird so I checked the tails of my guppies. Is there any way I can reduce aggression or it will just calm Down on it's own later in the week?

Move the tank decor around. Take him out and float him in the tank for a few hours then pop him back in. That helps reduce agression

as i said in the Betta section, i really doubt this will die down, the Betta is doing what he is made for and protecting his territory, you add 3 very fancy/long finned fish that to him are other Bettas, he will not stop until they are seperated.

Please do whats best for both lots of fish and seperate them
