Betta Feeding!

I ask this because when i purchased my first Betta i was told by the LFS to feed them twice a week although i feed them every other day.

I have had my Betta's for at least 4 Months now and never had any before and now i have found this forum i can ask for all your opinions at last.

They seem fine but am i doing the correct thing???

Yes, everyother day is perfect, too little will kill the fish, and too much will polute the water and that could also kill the fish, so every other day is fine

Was told twice a day and then they said once a day here. Wife was doing it every other but for some reason we changed it to 1 or 2 pieces every night. Nutter gorgeous fish for your avatar.

i try to feed mine every other day....sometimes i miss, but they get a coupe extra pellets if i do.

my doctor told me, that instead of having 5 or 6 little meals a day, i should have 2 or 3 big meals to help diet.....so wouldn't that be ok for fish too? instead of a little every day, how bout more every other day?

3 pellets a day or 3 bloodworms a day when they get those. I fast them once a week.

I fast once a week too, but I feed at least once a day, and most times twice.

I usually feed once a day, but more often it turns out to be twice, just because they look at me so sadly. I also fast them one day out of the week.

I feed every day...If i remember, so if I forget they don't eat. Mine get too many bloodworms, but the smallest tank I have one in is a 5 gallon, so I don't worry about overfeeding too much

I feed my moms when it wants to eat. He's fine with it and so are we, and anything he misses when I first throw it in he gets later. The problem is (though the fish isn't complaining) that I feed him, then mom will feed him thinking I didn't, then I feed him again later, then she might feed him, but it doesn't matter, he's all good.

It's best to feed them very day, and skip a day.
