Now she had told me that she'd like to give me a reverse trio - 2 males and 1 female. She said the females are bothering the males to spawn all the time and it's easier on the males that way. Cracks me up, as I'm used to livebearers and splendens where the male always wants the nookie!!

Anyways.. hmm... now I might have to give them the new 3 gallon tank! That way I can always split them up if I have to... Also, the female of mine who has had all the trouble is finally giving up and dying, so that'll be a home for one of the orangies when they come. Good and bad I guess.

I envy u. I have been looking for wild bettas for ever.There is only one fish shop that even tryes to get bettas in here and the owner is really quite enoying I'm just trying to suck up to him so he would even try to get me some fish. Hasn't worked wery well so far course there is apparently no bettas in the ordering lists. EVER

those look sick... i cant get bettas to breed.... those sound easy to breed.. and they look quite cool aswell.. mouth brooders of course are always cool...
