My betta did the same thing! He either got super comfortable and happy in his tank or it’s just a betta thing

bettas or any fish can change really fast in terms of color and perkiness when put in a good tank
you seem to be taking care of your little boy very well

Did you do anything or change anything?I started giving him frozen bloodworms every other day as meals. Maybe that changed him.
