id like to know what fish are a good fit w. betta i already have 12 corys 1 pleco which im donating and 8 black neon tetra but i feel like the tetra arent a good match as the betta loves to bother them so i might just get rid of my tetras:( i moved my betta into a little over hat goes in the tank but id like him free flowing in the tank so any suggestions id like fish in the middle of my tank which look really dead right now i have a 20 gallon tank

lol this is very ignorant of me can you give me examples...male betta btw if its any help

They are pretty mild mannered and would probably do well with platys or female swordtail. just no other fish with long fins. Bettas do not tend to get along with long-finned fish.

well ive already lost 4 neon tetra so i guess ill have to look into the platys thanks ive had horrible experience with swordtails as they bullied my betta and ultimately had to give them away

Bear in mind that it also depends on the personality of the fish. Every fish is different. All of my platys have a different behavior about them, just as none of my 4 bettas are the same. It may be difficult to place a betta in a communit. I have only had luck with one.

would any type of rasboras be fine cause my lfs has a bunch of galaxy rasbora on special price

That I am unsure of. The thing about rasboras is that they are fast schooling fish that ideally need a 4ft tank as they love to zip and zoom. This is why the Harlequins are no longer with my betta. I moved them to a longer tank.

oh well i have a 20 gallon tank that is long still think it wouldnt go
