Betta Cohabitants

Do you know what kind of frog it is for sure? Either way it will be fine with little water flow but if it's a clawed frog then I'd get rid of it as soon as you can because it will get big and eat the betta.

Its a dwarf it has webbed front feet not claws.

I would also like to know about non fish buddys like shrimp. Right now I'm debating getting white cloud mountain minnows, the redder rasboras( I forgot the name and a couple corys. But I think I want some colorful shrimp as well if the betta won't attack or be attacked by it.

Shrip are usually ok with Bettas so you should be ok there unless you have an agressive lil fella. Corys should be in a group of 5 plus, they are not to good in a "group" of two

I was thinking of about 5 of each fish. And maybe 3 or 4 shrimp. I loved the rasbora, may not get the clouds if I can't see them in person.
