Betta breeding

well because everyone has been telling you take her out and your not listening to them and tell us she is getting worse and her wounds bigger, than what is the point of coming here to ask for help? You need to take that girl out right now and put her in a container with some aquarium salt and bettaMax (if you cant find that, then some tea treal oil) in a dim lit area or with a towel covering the tank, for less stress. I hope you learned some stuff from here and next time learn more about breeding before you try, and have the female get beat up and die. Don't let this discourage you from fish keeping, we are just giving you some good advice so you know better next time.

My betta would be dead if I didn't take her out a week ago or whenever I started this thing. Her wounds are swelling up but they are betta now (lol). I have betta plus .is that as good as Betta max? Also she isn't eating I don't thnk but she isn't acting sick anymore. I am starting to feed them live mosquito larvae now.
I have an odd question?

CAn fish get westnile? from mosquitos?

betta plus is just a water conditioner. it is not a medicine. i really suggest you do lots and lots and lots of reasearch if you try to breed again, considering you dont know the differnence between water conditioner and medicine.
you can start here. there is lots of good info at that site.
dont feed the mosquoti larvae if you just found it outside in your yard. it is likely to have diseases. if you are going to feed mosquito larvae you can get a culture from the bug farm. i doubt west nile could affect a betta just like humans cant get ich maybe?

Why does verybody think I didn't take my female bettta OUT!
I took It out whenever the Very VERy first person I talked to!
Quit telling me to take it out! It is already out!

I am not going to start breeding in about the end of July now so I can get well prepared.
I went on the internet and found a way to get mosquito larvea in a large container.
