I've finally caved in to the need to get another betta. I've already purchased the tank but I'll not be setting it up until I get the issue with my current bettas tank taken care of. I'm currently waiting on a new filter to arrive and fix our slime issue.
Anywho! I've ordered a 5.5 gallon tank kit, I'll be tossing out the filter that comes with it and ordering a different one. Once I've got my tank all cycled and spiffy I will be looking for its occupant, tis of course will be weeks down the road but I'd like to do some window shopping now. I've seem some really nice fish at my LFS but they do live in those little cups, with everyone I buy another will replace it in a little cup. I was thinking of buying from a breeder but some of the nicer betta I've seen run for anywhere between 50$ and even 90$! I could buy two extra 5 gallon tank kits with that! Does anyone know a good breeder that, even if they don't have the "fanciest finned betta" have good healthy stock that won't cost me a hundred dollars?
