Just out of curiosity, why do you want so many bettas? Are you planning on breeding? If so, I'm sure the people here will have lots of good pointers.

How do you make that work? I know water drips in the top, but how does the old get out..is there a hole in the bottom as well or something lol...pardon me if it's a silly questions..I just can't seem to put 2 and 2 together on this lol.

No not in the bottom as if the system was to fail the barracks would empty if you can see the water level in the last pictures there is a 4mm hole either side drilled in the boxes and that lets the old water out and all the floating particles and some fish waste still have to clean them once a week just siphon the bottom of the boxes and add new water to the filter system and once a month take them off one at a time and sterilize them or replace with a new one and sterilize the one taken off, so they are always kept clean and get clean water complete clean of the water in the filter so 100% water change, this year will be extending it on the wall so twice as long and also am thinking of running the filter the whole length of the barracks under neath so will have about seven diffrent filter cells with diffrent media??in planning stage........... o know more tanks to clean........ if i hadnt got enough

Insanity
I have a couple of questions too. I'm not quite sold on a drip system yet because I've heard horror stories,in the end it seems like just as much work as regular jarring. I can do a 100% water change in the time it would take me to syphon poo out of one container. It's the bucket lugging that I find tiring/time consuming and that's why I'm considering (only considering) trying a barrack. So,my question is this...do your fish ever jump out on you?
