:hyper: :hyper: Great, thanks!
Sadly, the little boy has a tumor, and I would give up fishkeeping if he passed away :shout:
BTW, what program do you use to make them? thanks!

im jealous. i dont have the patience to do that. i tried.

Well, patience IS a prerequisite for pixeling, IMHO. If I had more patience, I'm sure I could make them much better. But then, I don't.

My pleasure. ;) I'm glad you like it.
Aww, sweet little Kenni does? I'm so sorry to hear that! :-( I've started to notice a little something on Darby's side too... but I can't tell if it's just how his coloring is, or if it's some kind of muscle... or worse. It's not by any means big though, so I'm leaning toward tail muscle. *knock on wood*

Edit: Whoops, forgot to tell you, I use Adobe Photoshop 7.0 to make them, but any program with a pencil and the ability to zoom can probably do them.

 Well, pick one of your thousands of Bettas and post a pic for me. ;)

Here you go

I also want a pixel betta a red hmpk ... yoohooo thankssssssss :hyper:

I just have to say, your KILLING me Cracker! This one is by far the most difficult betta I've tried to pixel. I'm doing my best, but I can't guarantee results!
*Faints from squinting at all of the unbelievably different colors*

There's a blending tool in photoshop called the smudge tool. If you don't have that, you can up the transparency of whatever brush your using, but don't use a hard-edged one.
Wait, what program are you using?

oohhh i know how to do that! *jumps up and down in an overly tired state of hyperactivity*

it would take me a month to do one fish. i seriously don't have the patience. can i steal your VT pixel to use as a template?
if i ever take the time to do it...

I think you should come up with your own template. You're creative, give it a try.
You'll never learn until you do.

I'm getting better, heres one I just did

Lookin' good! :good: The color on the tail looks much better, it seems you've figured it out! If you want some constructive criticism, let me know. ;)

creatives one thing, i've never been able to draw to save my life  . horses are one thing. everything else is awful.
i tried to do an outline of a betta for another thing i was doing...i think i need to buy a mouse for my laptop, not just use a touch pad.

Well, I can see your problem then. I wouldn't even THINK of attempting pixeling with a laptop!

And it's taken me a full hour to get it looking semi-good, but I think my creativity is tapped out.
Here is your betta, _cRaCkEr_!

The tail isn't quite up to snuff, but it was the best I could manage. Strangely, the colors kept blending together in odd ways. *shrug*
Hope you enjoy it!

Thanks! It was hard to figure out a way to capture the definition on his scales. Just shows what a good picture reference can do. ;)

he was definatly a different looking fish, you did a good job capturing him in pixelated format.

Thanks! That's sweet of you to say. :)
I think I'm off to lala land now, I'm already forgetting half of what I'm reading. Gnight!
