Hi , Never kept a beta fish before and a few weeks ago after buying some fish she jumped ship and ended up home with my new fish , since she has doubled in size and comes out Heaps more where as when she was small she hided all the time . So cut a long story short she's nipping my male guppys fins , so rather than giving her away I'm thinking about moving her in a bout a week to my quarantine tank which is currently housing baby mollies .
I'm going to chance the baby's in my big tank and move the guppy males to quarantine for a week cos she's nipping fins so much they almost all gone so I'm wanting to perhaps make sure they don't get fin rot . Not sure if theres summit I can put in to help their fins ?

Also I have 2 sucking loaches in my gold fish tank , but signs of aggression is about between them both , not sure as I have never done this , but can I put one in
my quarantine tank with beta female next week. ? It would mean moving one from a 22 to a 27 1/2 degrees . If this is possible , what is the best way forward .

when moving fish what i do is put them in a baggie with the water form the tank they are in and float the bag, like what you would if you got a new fish from the pet store. then add some of the water of the tank you are going to move the fish into the bag and let it float for a few mins then put the fish in the tank and give the water to your plants or something.
