Beta ad black widow Tetra's..Compatible?

Loved the look of the black widow Tetra's that they have in my local petsmart and was thinking of adding a few to my 50litre (uk) tank alongside my beta and 2 zeba danios.

But before I buy these guys, just wanted to ask the pro's what these tetras are like and wether thee hostile to my beta

I've housed two large black widows [fully mature] with one of my bettas in a comm tank with no probs but I must tell you that they do lose a hell of a lot of colour as they mature.. they lose all of the stark black and are reduced to a dull grey unless they colour up for mating of course.. just thought you might like to know in case the LFS didn't mention it.
