Best Way To Create A Cave For A Bristlenose Pair To Spawn/breed?

Hi

I was just wondering what is the best stuff to use (eg. terracotta pots, PVC pipes etc) to form a cave for a bristlenose pair?

I just aquired a pair and the male has already taken up residence in one of the smal terracotta pots, it does look too small for both the male and female to 'spawn' in though!

I've read that a cave with a "small entrance with a large inside" works best for breeding BN.

They like tight spaces- when younger/smaller I have used pvc caves, but I also get great results using larger caves. I get them from www.rosenthalpottery.com/

Thanks for the info TwoTankAmin. If using PVC pipes/caves, is it the tighter the better for the BNs or would they like a bit more space to spawn in the pipe/cave and ultimately more space to care for the fry?

I started with pvc- the first time I found an egg ball in the middle of the tank, I knew it was time for bigger caves.
