My tank is ready for a really good clean, just one small corner sometimes get some sunlight on it so algea is growing there, only now its getting a bit bad, so i wanted to know whats the best way to get it clean, like SUPER clean? I also though about adding some rocks, like just normal ones out of the garden, do i have to scrub them with hot water??

For cleaning, there are various implements that you can buy at any self-respecting fish store. Be sure you're careful not to get anything that'll scratch your tank!

You can't really add chemicals to clean it, so you'll have to do it by hand. :/

Yes, you should probably clean the rocks as well as you can before adding them. I'm not sure on this though. . . :fish:

wash all rocks before adding, withhot water

to get rid of alge, get some plants, plants will take in all the CO2 and the alge wont have any to live on... and try keeping the tank out of sunlight...
i usually rub the alge so it comes off, but u could scrape it off.
and... do u have a siphone, theyre really useful, siphone is an excelent way to keep the fish un stressed and normal, and its great to hover the gravel with, sorry if u already know this... never take more than 45% of the water out, coz the good bacteria will die off... good luck with the cleaning
and bye

Get an algae magnet - they work really well and you just have to use it every now and then to wipe off the algae

People warn about gets pieces of substrate and stuff stuck in it and scratching the glass... hasn't happened to me yet  ... but at least you get the warning ;)
