Yeah your right thanks for the advise bitterapects no hard feelings sometimes I just take things the wrong way then get pissed and I have a short temper as it is lol. Anyways once I get the tank home tommorrow gonna run up and get me a net to add to my collection

when i moved my oscar (12inch) i used a bag that comes inside a poly box that fish stores have for deliverys, basically put it in the tank, and caught him whilst trying to drain a lot of the water from the bag at the same time.. he just swam in wasn`t stressed at all.... was heavy tho.. but those bags can take it, then i put the bag (tied) in the box and transported him that way

i have a large net, but i know for a fact he would have splashed about and probably blown up my TV with the water so this was the easiest option for me

A large blanket or piece of material lowered down oneside of the aquarium along the base and up the other side (a kind of sling) Gently lift the material upward keeping the ends closed. Again quickly transfer the sling with fish inside to new quarters.
I hope this was of some help

reminds meo f free willy when they save him with the blanket thing.

forgot what its called. But i know what your on about bigc :good:

yes agreed with shelagh.....also if you pop down to a cheap shop like pound shop or whatever you have in your area you should find some type of net if either the one you use when a kid on bamboo or a landing net for fishing, also you could try if desperate, get a clean tea towel or a bed sheet and catch him with your hands, once this way should be ok
