Hi All
I've got a Juwel Rio 180 with internal filter and pump. I have the nozzle (that comes out the side of the filter casing into the main area of the aquarium) pointing slightly upwards, meaning the water being forced out by the pump breaks the surface of the water, creating a ripple effect on the water surface, not rough or excessive though.
Is this okay (or even better for the fish?) or should I have the nozzle pointed so the flow of water stays under the surface i.e. doesn't break surface of the water?
