Best Substrate?

So what are my best options in substrate on a planted tank i want it to be sand but a faily decent grain maybe 2mm or something and also want it to be black, i have cories so needs to be sand.

Check out the Unipac range. Aquaessentials is probably worth a shufty :good:
 
Try florite sand thats black n gd for plants and cories like it but i think that usin soil is best for a planted tank
 
There isn't a 'best' substrate. It all depends on what fish you have and what you are planning on growing.
 
I don't know about "best", but fluorite is easy to use and my plants do fantastic in it. Dirt is great but not for people like me who do a lot of rearranging.
