Right now i have a planted 48 gallon with lots of dying swords and alot of algae(hair). I have 2 2 liters running co2 and a diffuser. 4 39 watt bulbs (2 12K and 2 Made for freshwater plants) running on 5 off2 on 5. I have about 2 inches of sand.
Fish: 1 senegal bichir
i dose liquid fertelizer two times a week
I want a new substrate to benefit the plants. Which would be a good one for it. I don't care if its a sand, gravel, or mud. Im not picky about looks but could anyone recomend a good one. I was looking into aquariumplants.com own freshwater planted aquarium substrate but does anyone have any expierence on that. Im a teen so i have about only 100 U.s dollars to spend on it.
