Unfortunately yes! I'll be honest I didnt realize until I signed on to this forum that I was overstocked! The three weather loaches (chinese algae eaters as they turned out to be have been exchanged for two baby plecs not sure what yet)!

Man, plecs need bigger tanks than CAE's typically. Are you saying you exchanged the CAE's for plecs? Because that would be a bad move.

These plecs are supposed to grow to 4" didnt get the name of them but have been questioning them elsewhere in this forum as to what they might be! The main theory is that they are BN's!

I'm hopefullly getting a larger tank by Summer so shouldnt be much of a problem when it comes to it! Also the plecs are better for the community compared to the CAE's which can become aggressive and had already began chasing my platies!

Hello,

I currently have a community aquarium with the following:

swordtails
neon tetras
plec
silver mollies
honey gouramis
black widow tetras

and i would like to add some shrimps, would the amano, ghost or redfire shrimps be ok in my current set-up?

any help would be great!
