Best Plec For A 120g

Hi' All ,

I'm looking for a reasonalbly priced plec that is not going to outgrow a 4x2x2 , isn't to small to be considered food for a full gorwn bichir/oscar and ideally less than £30. I've been recommended the royal plec but this seems to be around the £50 mark . Also i'd prefer a herbivore that will happily take algae wafers/cucumber and not need fish/meat.

Any recommendations?

L046 (not under £30 though especially if you want a big one rather than one to grow out.)

Have a look on planetcatfish too. If being kept with a bichir and oscar though you are best having an omnivore not a herbivore - a herbivore would probably get too much protein from scavenging the leavings from the other fish.

ahh i thought a herbivore wouldnt take the prawns etc. Learn something new every day !
